Our consulting services are intended to assist management in identifying significant facility components that will require major capital expenditures for maintenance, upgrades or replacement over a 10- or 20-year study period.

The assessment includes a detailed site inspection to evaluate the current condition of the buildings’ envelopes, systems, paved areas, utilities, and site improvements, and to establish a preliminary capital reserve for the future.

Yingst Engineers will also conduct interviews of management and perform a detailed review of facility documents including, but not limited to, construction documents, maintenance records, annual budgetary figures and estimates for proposed capital improvements.

At the completion of site reconnaissance activities, we will prepare a detailed engineering report summarizing our findings and conclusions. The report will also feature a spreadsheet style schedule for facility component maintenance, upgrade or replacement costs to be anticipated over the next 10 or 20 years for budgetary and planning purposes.
